Interests:Geoff is a pre-doctoral intern from the Counseling Psychology PhD program at the University of Georgia and is originally from the Chicago area. He received his M.S. in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University in 2006.  His clinical interests include multicultural counseling, anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, psychological assessment, and identity development. Geoff’s research interests include multicultural counseling, substance abuse, stigma of mental illness, international psychology, and the process and outcome of counseling.  Geoff values multicultural and social justice perspectives and integrates these principles into his clinical work and research. Geoff has supervised Master’s level counseling students and taught courses in career decision-making, drug and alcohol issues, and introductory helping skills.
