Interests: Xavier is a pre-doctoral Intern from the Ph.D. program in clinical psychology at Palo Alto University in California. He is originally from Taiwan and has a master degree in psychology with an emphasis on narrative psychology and qualitative research. His clinical interests include narrative psychotherapy, multicultural counseling, and gay affirmative therapy. His research experiences include the narrative analysis of identity conflicts between religious and sexual orientations faced by the LGBT Christians and the cross-cultural analysis of the impact of coming-out and internalized homo-negativity on European and Asian American gay men’s psychological health.
