Interests: Has been a member of MECCA for over 26 years and served as an administrator at the Counseling Center for 11 years. Areas of clinical interest include providing programs in residence halls on such topics as male-female relationships, cross-cultural awareness, sexual assault, and racial confrontation and sensitivity. Areas of research interest include the effects of self-esteem, racial, and sex-role identity on the quality of African-American male-female relationships. Therapy orientation: psychodynamic-ethnographic.
